Max Healthcare announces entry into Pune with 450-bed hospital; Rs.1,000 Cr investment

Max Healthcare Institute Ltd. is investing over Rs.1,000 crore to establish a 450-bed super specialty hospital in Pune's Yerawada area. (MHIL) announced its entry into Pune with plans to set up a 450-bed super specialty hospital, involving an investment of over Rs.1,000 crore.

The state-of-the-art facility will be located in Yerawada, one of Pune’s prime and centrally located areas, and is expected to be commissioned over the next three years. The upcoming hospital will be Max Healthcare’s fourth facility in Western India, further strengthening its footprint in Maharashtra.

Commenting on the development, Abhay Soi, Chairman and Managing Director, Max Healthcare Institute Ltd informed that Pune’s rapid urban growth and expanding middle-class population have created a strong demand for advanced healthcare infrastructure.
