(MHIL) announced its entry into Pune with plans to set up a 450-bed super specialty hospital, involving an investment of over Rs.1,000 crore.
The state-of-the-art facility will be located in Yerawada, one of Pune’s prime and centrally located areas, and is expected to be commissioned over the next three years. The upcoming hospital will be Max Healthcare’s fourth facility in Western India, further strengthening its footprint in Maharashtra.
Commenting on the development, Abhay Soi, Chairman and Managing Director, Max Healthcare Institute Ltd informed that Pune’s rapid urban growth and expanding middle-class population have created a strong demand for advanced healthcare infrastructure.

Our entry into Pune is a strategic milestone and aligns with our long-term vision of expanding our presence in key healthcare markets across the country. This will be the first of several facilities that we intend to establish in this market.
